WORDPRESS MAINTENANCE

WordPress is one of the easiest and most powerful website content management systems (CMS) around. Because of its flexibility and ability to grow, WordPress is the ideal site builder for both small and large companies. WordPress is used by 43.2% of all websites on the internet. (W3Techs, 2022)

WordPress along with themes and plugins are software from various vendors that all work together. Like any software, they need to be updated to the latest versions. If not, sites are vulnerable to hacking, broken functionality, malware infection, security breaches, loss of data and possible blacklisting from Google.

Your WordPress website is not set it and forget it.

WordPress websites routinely receive new updates each month which improves the security and performance of the platform. In order to make sure that your WordPress website remains secure your site needs consistent maintenance of the core code as well as any plugins and themes.

WHAT WE PROVIDE

Regular Updates

WordPress core files, WordPress plugins and your WordPress theme constantly release updates to fix bugs, add new features, increase performance and to keep your website safe and secure. We ensure that these are updated in a timely manner or not if know issues exist with an update.

Troubleshooting

We will troubleshoot conflicts or errors on your site when they arise.

Security Best Practices

We setup security measures to help block potential threats before they occur, including continuous monitoring of unauthorized logins, and other malicious attempts. This also includes properly securing your site with SSL.

Automatic Backups

Your website is set to backup monthly and backup files are stored offsite either on Dropbox or Google Drive. A clean backup is made prior to updating to a new WordPress revision.

Server/Hosting Environment

Ensure that your site is using the best PHP, MySQL versions for your particular installation (pending hosting limitations).

Our maintenance plan does not include content updates, malware removal or email troubleshooting beyond what is in our scope.
