Leap year only comes around every four years and that one little day offers creative marketing opportunities for small businesses and nonprofits. Our client, Loveland Legacy Foundation saw an opportunity and took it. They put a fundraiser together for community residents to “Take a Leap” on special deals offered by local businesses with a portion of the proceeds going to their charity. To help make their marketing more memorable and relevant, they asked us to create a logo for their fundraising event, “Leap for Loveland Legacy”. They wanted us to incorporate parts of their logo with a frog. The frog represents both “leap” and a little local folklore known as the “Loveland Frog”. Elements from their logo include the bridge, colors, and fonts. We also created a flyer for area businesses.
